Did you know that Victoria’s Secret was founded by a man? The guy wanted a place where men could feel comfortable shopping with their wives for lingerie. Years later, he sold the franchise rights and then jumped off the Golden Gate Bridge. Today there are over 1,000 stores and after more than 30 years, I still don’t feel comfortable walking into one of their stores (let alone walking around the mall with one of those bags). And thanks to the internet, I don’t have to.

The problem, however,  with online shopping is that you never really know what you’re going to get until it arrives and due to the “intimate nature” of intimate apparel, many online retailers (or eBay sellers) don’t take returns. As a result, I have a few small things for sale.

Check out the listings here: http://bit.ly/mOSO6I. Photos after the jump.

So I received yet another Victoria’s Secret e-mail today, advertising the new cute PINK Lace Racerback Push-up. I click to look, thinking to myself: “yet another Victoria’s Secret product I would like but wouldn’t fit in.”

Then…I was shocked! They now carry size 30 A.

Ok, they’re getting there, but they still don’t have size 30 AA. All they have available in size 30 band is A or B cup. I have a hunch that their 30 A would still be too large in the cups.

Anyway, I’m set for awhile with my Little Bra Company Angela bras (which are size 30 A, but cut on a very petite scale). But maybe come the time that I need new bras…Victoria’s Secret will finally carry size 30 AA.

At least there’s hope.

Victoria's Secret Pink bra: not very sexy.

Ow, my ribs. VS Pink fail.

I’m selling this Victoria’s Secret Pink bra (size 32AA), but I can’t honestly recommend it to anyone who actually reads my posts. You deserve better. Not doing a free gift with this one, as I actually sort of hope it doesn’t sell.

This is the “Very Sexy Goes Pink” bra, with level 4 padding for what VS calls “extreme lift.” But in case you didn’t notice from the image, it does not give me cleavage. Every now and then, if you’re me, you put on a push-up bra that somehow manages to make your boobs look even smaller…. fail.

Victoria's Secret Pink "Very Sexy" padded bra, 32AA

VS Pink bra, 32AA

Here are two current VS online savings codes you can use for a bra in size AA. I’m not the biggest fan of Victoria’s Secret bras, but I know you’re gonna buy them anyway and I don’t want you going broke. That’s what Small Bra Savings is about, after all.

The codes will work online for any VS or Victoria’s Secret Pink bra, including those already on sale, except for clearance items. Also, the codes can’t be combined in the same order.

I Heart My RackShopping for gifts at the mall this season, I’ve seen way too many teen girls walk by wearing push-up plunge bras with the kind of padding that looks about as natural as the plastic boobs on a Barbie. And it’s not just the teenagers — I’ll admit, I’ve made the same mistake. Continue reading »

Victoria’s Secret has come a long way since I first ventured in as a self-conscious teen with no breasts. Now, at age 30, I still have very little boobs… but VS has finally recognized the fact that teens and small-busted women like to be able to wear bras and sexy lingerie that actually fits. Hence, the Victoria’s Secret Pink line: a collection of adorable little bras, undies, and other intimates.

VS Pink is not luxury lingerie. The bras are simple and pretty, with minimal frills. I find the padded push-up styles a little awkward, but the lightly lined T-shirt bra is a great fit for everyday wear. The one shown here comes in black as well.

Sizes: 32AA-C; 34A-C; 36B-C.
