Yay! Amen to that. A lot of small-busted women feel like they don’t even really need a bra, so they don’t have a right to try and find one. So not true. Lingerie is fun and we all deserve to feel comfortable and attractive underneath our clothes. Thanks June.

Love this! I’m working on a brochure to give to the gym at work (I work for state of Maine), because I see all sorts of women who could use a better fitting bra. I’m most familiar with issue of fitting skinny and booby, but know that all women could use a better fitting bra. I am convinced my 34B niece is really something like a 28E, and her younger sister must be 26 or 28, but a smaller cup… I want to take them to be fitted… they’re 19 and 17 this year. I would have LOVED it if I’d been in the right sizes since I was that age, rather than making do with the DD’s (I’m in a 32G-ish, and I’m bigger in the ribs than I was at that age). There’s a great fit video for the smaller framed, smaller boobed woman, check out Ask Ms 101 bra fitting. It’s a little long, but I think the tone targets the younger audience really well.

Love this post! I seriously wish I could get some of my smaller-breasted friends and relatives to understand this too! ALL women, regardless of size, deserve to own well-fitting, supportive, and beautiful bras.

You should check out the work of Lucas Cranach the Elder. His Venuses (and other goddesses taken from Greek myth) are all small-chested and waife-like; a desirable body time in Germany and the Flemish countries at the time of the Early renaissance.
